This is an Operations Engineer role, reporting to the Manager of Research & Development in the business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally, and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. It is based in Bangalore, the silicon valley of India. Its unique infrastructure places research, development, engineering, and service teams under one roof, increasing collaboration and reducing time to market, with no compromise on quality.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain the existing cloud platform via various monitoring solutions available e.g., App Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Network Performance Monitor, etc.
• Develop and enhance dash-boarding solutions built on Microsoft Azure-hosted Web Server, to further help in monitoring the existing deployments.
• Support in security adherence of the deployments by following security guidelines and best practices.
• Support for the issues faced on the existing deployments as reported by end-user.
• Provide inputs to the Development Team for the necessary automation required.

Your background

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering with specialization in Computer Science, Electrical, and Electronics from any reputed institution.
• Required 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Azure and its development toolkit.
• Should have knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform and key components such as IoT Hub, EventHub, Azure Functions, Azure TimerSeries Insights, Storages, Redis Cache, etc.
• Experience in Microsoft development technologies such as Visual Studio, NET/C#.
• Experience in DevOps, Operational Processes.
