Your role

  • You will prepare credit risk analysis reports on assigned clients (business and financial analysis with a focus on credit issues) and recommend rating grades for the clients and facilities/exposures 
  • You are expected to understand and keep yourself regularly updated on the Credit Ecosystem – Tools and applications, Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Systems required to perform the Credit Analysis of Real Estate Borrowers
  • Develop strong knowledge of credit analysis for clients; regularly track sector developments on an ongoing basis
  • Build expertise in the North America Commercial Real Estate sector; as well as in analyzing Real estate Operating Companies & Real Estate Investment Trusts
  • You will be jointly working with Underwriters/Portfolio Managers in North America and Portfolio Managers in India on multiple portfolio management activities 
  • You are expected to develop and maintain open communication channels with Underwriters and Credit Executives 
  • Contribute to various ad-hoc projects

About you

  • 0-2 years of experience in credit risk; experience in the North American commercial real estate sector is preferred 
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and financial statements, including ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, and basic accounting principles
  • Attitude and aptitude to learn and enhance knowledge of credit risk analysis; and passion for the real estate sector
  • Deadline orientation; strong attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft desktop tools (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new tools, techniques and applications
  • Ability to work proactively & independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Strong and effective communication skills – both verbal & written; and good interpersonal skills to be able to effectively present analysis and build strong relationships with stakeholders at various hierarchies
