Creates, develops, plans writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance, test, or user manuals for paper, multimedia, or web-based publications. Contributes to the timely design, production, and delivery/completion of product documentation and document sets.
As a member of the technical writing division, you will write, review and produce single books or individual chapters, appendices, etc. of product user documentation and/or courseware. Obtain data and information from the appropriate source e.g. technical staff and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes, and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
A Technical Writer creates simple to complex technical documents, user manuals, help files, and learning material for on-premise applications and cloud services in the finance and insurance domain. They explain complex information clearly and concisely and work with engineering staff and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy of the content. They align to documentation releases and publish documents with minimal defects.

The right candidate will have a flair for writing simple, concise user documentation after gaining a thorough hands-on of the application/service in the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI) domain. Using their knowledge of the company style guides to write engaging content, they will publish peer- and technical-reviewed content to our doc library. They will have a curiosity to advance their domain, tool, and communication skills continually.
